Bandeja Paisa

While in Amsterdam we took advantage of the multicultural food scene and dined at a restaurant with a menu boasting margaritas, fajitas and other such delicacies. Continuing on my meat phase, I went all in and ordered the Bandeja Paisa. This beautiful array of chorizo, smashed and fried plantains, thick hand-rolled tortillas and more arrived at the table. I was in flavor heaven.

Taste buds that were lying dormant danced as salt, lime, tomato, corn, pork and tequila passed through my mouth. What a wonderful dinner. Happy weekend!
